He has the dis tinction of representing the largest senatorial district in North Caro lina, and is also the senatorial representative of Governor Clyde R. Hoey, since Cleveland is one of the counties of the district. In this work Mr. Alcock is being ably assisted by Hon. F. P. Bacon, of Tryon, the second member of the Senatorial delegation from the 27th District. - Mr. Bacon's prior ser vice in the General Assembly is of inestimable value to both Mr. Bacon and Mr. Alcock.—Forest City Courier.
